Vocabulary Teaching Lesson

Yesterday, I tried to do a vocabulary lesson.
So, I want to write about it.

First of all, I really felt that teaching and the job as teachers was so hard!!
So, it was very valuable experience for me to do the lesson, and I am deeply grateful to Mr.Hall.
Moreover, everyone acted the role of an individual student well, I could do in a real situation.
Thank you for helping my lessonヽ(・∀・)人(・∀・)ノ☆★

1. What we did for our lesson.
I made a guidance plan, work sheets, word cards, an aim card, and so on.
I would do my best, I think.

2. What our students did during our lesson.
Students spent a lot of time in practicing and playing a game.
The reason was that I wanted to give student much time to practice new words.
So, I tried to have student took part in my class as I could possible.
And, some students took an active part in my lesson ( Haruka, Hiroyuki, Keiko, and so on ), but others were so negative ( Mika, Shiki-san, Mayuko, Emiko, and so on).

3. The strangth and weakness of our lesson

◇The strength
・ I supported ALT and spoke Japanese effectively as Japanese English Teacher, in order that student could understand what they had to do next.
・ In word practice, as teachers hardly tought the answer, students who could answer helped other students.
・ I could see students states, expressions, and an atmosphere, I think.
・ I talked with many students in the game, and helped them.
・ As Shiki-san was a student who had a poor attitude in class, I scolded him and made him sat up straight as a teacher.

◇The weakness
・ Time of our lesson was too long.
・ I should have changed questions of new words.
・ I took a mistake for distribution of work sheets.
・ I should have had students practiced by the line.
・ I had to do more consistent lesson.

Thank you so much for reading my post to the end.
Please give me your real thinking and good advice (*→㉨←)ノ!!

Hello micchan, Your class ws so fan, and You looked good in a elementary school teacher. I feel that I am in a real school.
I thought we had nothing to do at times in the class, so I agree with Mr.Hall's advice that you should have pick on students continuously.
I think your class was fantastic! Good job !!!

Hello Nami,
In your lesson, I was a role of student who is very shy and do not like to talk, if another student offers to help me, I will accept their help. I think that students who are shy just like me could join the lesson thanks to your help. I thought that you could watch all of students. Also, students who don't like English could understand the lesson since you spoke Japanese. But, I also agree with Mr.Hall's advice.
Your lesson was interesting!! Thank you!
Emiko

Hi Micchan, I'm Naojin.
You picked every student to pronounce new words and it was good for them to understand, but it took long time. You can solve this problem by Mr. Hall's advice. I think it is difficult to speak English as many as possible, and you spoke English and Japanese to help student and ALT. It was good for progressing the lesson smoothly.
Thank you for your teaching!!

Hi micchan,
You are good at helping students and ALT teacher. You always check students activity, and give us some good advices. I think you will be able to teach at real junior high school.
Pictures are good idea, becouse we could understand directry from english. I think it is good to be used to english.
Thank you for your good lesson.

Hello, Micchan!Thank you for your lesson. I enjoyed studying English words. You always saw every student and you helped them who cannot understand. I was very esteemed. And you was helpful for ALT. Students want to contact with a foreigner, so we help it!

Hello, micchan!!
Your vocabulary teaching lesson was very good. You looked like a real teacher. Especially you supported Rozen by speaking Japanese. So it was easy for us to understand class activity.
In the class, you made students pronounce English words at random. By doing this, students will try to remember English words and listen teacher's instruction carefully.
But the weakness of the class is to asking students what is the new words in English. I thought so. Students does't know the words in English yet, though they can forecast the words in Japanese by the picture. Except for when they prepare for the lessons.
Enyway you prepaed very well!! Your guidance plan was great. Thank You!!

Hello, micchan! This is Wakame. Thank you for your teaching. I learned some points from your class. First, your word cards were so cute and we could enjoy practicing the words. Second, I knew that it is a little difficult to make the students practice one by one. Teachers have to distribute time in the lessom.
Finally, teaching both in English and Japanese is so effective, I think. Students can understand the meaning rightly and expect them. Thank you! Good job!

Hi!Micchan☆This is Kanage.
Thank you for your lesson. I think that you gathered up the class well as JET. I was very useful for your instructions for example, how to put out question for student.
In word practice, I think that it is difficult to pronounce alone the word that students learned for the first time to see only picture.
However, I enjoyed studying English!!Thank you♪

Hello, micchan!!Your class was so interesting. You looked like a real English teacher and your explanations or directions were specific and easy to understand.Your partner,ALT,only spoke English, but your speking English helped student's learning.Maybe only English, junior high school students wouldn't understand,I thought.
And I also agree with Mr.Hall's advice.Long practice makes student perfect, but we have limit of time.
But you did good job!!I really enjoyed it.Thank you for your micro teaching☆

I think there were many good point in your class!
Especially it was impressive part for me that there were good actors. I think you are very nice actress, because I could see you as if you are real teacher! I think your teaching is very natural. So I was very comfortable in your class and easy to understand what you want us to do.

Hello, micchan! This is Pizza.
First, I was impressed with your well planed guidance plan and pictures. And in the class, you helped students to understand what ALT was speaking in Japanese as JET. Your support in Japanese was very helpful for students who were'nt good at English. Your class was very intersting because I could communicate with friends using the work sheet. And I think calling student one by one took long time, so, I think it is better to practice in pairs or groups.
Good job! I think you will be good teacher. Thank you for your teaching!

It was very fun of your lesson. You used a repeat and review methonds for us effectively, I thought. And you looked real English teacher. That's funny.
It seemed me when one teacher made us practice a words, the other was empty. You could observe each student's manner. Then you develop the lesson sligtly, I think.

Mr.Hall gave you some advises that this class bocome more better. I could refer his advise too. Thank you for your class.

(Make guidance plan, decide what the lesson is so on.)I also felt that you did your best not only the preparation but also the lesson. The Japanese to support for the ALT made the students felt easy. Also you took care of the atmosphere of the class. Seeing it, I thought I would like you to be a real English teacher!

Hi Micchan, you prepared many materials, so your teaching was easy to understand. Naoki role-played ALT. It was intersting.
Japanese teacher advanced most part of the lesson but if Naoki used more English and body languages, Japanese teacher would use minimam Japanese explanation.
Good job!
